Simpsons? Is The Simpsons going to be on there? Because if not, I don't think I have much interest.

30 seasons sounds like enough to me. They only seem to mention The Sound Of Music as a movie from Fox. I hope to be allowed to look around the site after launch without having to subscribe.

I've seen it once, I don't really need to see it again. I thought it was kind of boring.

That may well be, but surely everybody should have the chance to judge for themselves.

The serendipity of randomly catching a movie on TCM now comes with an additional price tag

Is it possible, as Hersko speculates, that this competition in the streaming marketplace has “incentivized Comcast to gate Turner Classic Movies channel behind a more expensive television package”?

Maybe. Or maybe it’s the other way around: Maybe WarnerMedia made it unattractive for Comcast to continue offering TCM for “free” on its basic package precisely as a way to nudge viewers to cut the cord and subscribe to HBO Max.

What marketing person wrote this one: "an undisputed collection of classic films"?

I certainly won't dispute the fact that it is a "collection of classic films".

By this same logic I have an "undisputed collection of classic films" in my DVD drawer.

Lol. Because when you think "undisputed classic film" HBO immediately comes to mind.

I have undisputed classic films all over my house.
