GOTCHA!   Like Tour Alternate Oscars    Too bad TopBilled & others didn't join-in

If I were voting Joker would win BP, barely over l9l7, ironically the film I most wanted to see about a year since I heard they were making it THE IRISHMAN I didn't see & think it will be shut out due to the bonehead Netflix releasing concept

Is this your fav Tarentino picture to date?   Personally I still go for Pulp Fiction & was most impressed at how he handled Inglorious Basterds & languages, etc & Christolph Waltz was brilliant!

With Brad Pitt a virtual lock to win an Academy Award for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood tomorrow, it's another in a long line of leading roles squeezed into supporting race that took home the golden boy, here are a few huge examples>

Mary Astor, The Great Lie

Eva Marie Saint in Waterfront

Walter Matthau, Fortune Cookie

Meryl Streep, Kramer vs. Kramer

Timothy Hutton, 0rdinary People

Jessica Lange, Tootsie

Tilda Swinton, Michael Clayton

& several more, if you read history Oscar pundits & critics were upset back for 1940 insisted Walter Brennan-*(greatest character player ever!) in The Westerner was a co-starring role, in winning his 3rd s. actor statue

Can anyone name more off the top of their head?

Cool, fast answer. Ever see GRINDHOUSE? & most don't still know but you can tell that '93's True Romance (***1/2) ($12m.) was his baby, the script anyway

For longtimeI thought Tarentino would win that 3rd screenplay Oscar for it, but you know how elitist the AMPAS can be a lot & think they want to spread more to PARASITE now

I was just so dazzled at how original it was then when I first went to PF  Thought many called it Reservoir Dogs II

DEBIT: He's so obnoxious on screen though, do you agree? Remember FROM DUSK TILL DAWN & OTHERS?
