T & Ukraine whistleblower complaint....

10 things to know in the whistleblower complaint about Trump and Ukraine

The nine-page document was made public on Thursday.

"....Here are 10 of the most important points from the complaint:
  1. Trump was "using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country" in the 2020 election.
  2. "The interference includes, among other things, pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the president's main domestic political rivals. ... The president's personal lawyer, Mr. Rudolph Giuliani, is a central figure in this effort. Attorney General (William) Barr appears to be involved as well."
  3. The White House was so concerned it moved to "lock down" the transcript of the July phone call and removed it from a computer system typically used to store such call records and put it in a more secure system.
  4. According to White House officials the whistleblower spoke with, that was "not the first time" the Trump administration placed a presidential transcript "into this codeword-level system solely for the purpose of protecting politically sensitive — rather than national security sensitive — information."
  5. The whistleblower, whose identity and gender is not known, was not a "direct witness" to most of what was described, relying instead on what others in the White House and administration told him or her and media accounts.......

Acting spy chief, Maguire tells Congress the 'whistleblower did the right thing'

"........defending a whistleblower and intelligence committee watchdog who exposed contacts with Ukraine that could help lead to the President's impeachment.

"I believe that the whistleblower and the inspector general have acted in good faith throughout. I have every reason to believe that they have done everything by the book and followed the law," said acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, testifying before a key House committee.

But Maguire declined to say whether he spoke to the President about the whistleblower complaint....(citing ' executive privilege')......

" I am not partisan and I am not political," said Maguire, a former Navy SEAL commander who served eight presidents in uniform and was not a well-known public figure until he was thrust into the glare of the scandal. ....

Did DNI never hear about US vs Nixon?

No Executive Privilege to conceal crimes.

Asking foreign country for campaign help is a violation of campaignn law as well as a threat to our national security and withholding military aid is an impeachable abuse of his office.

I used to be skeptical of Trump being impeached but with an actual whistleblower from government coming forward that changes everything.

White House Knew of Whistle-Blower’s Allegations Soon After Trump’s Call With Ukraine Leader

The whistle-blower, a C.I.A. officer detailed to the White House at one point, first expressed his concerns anonymously to the agency’s top lawyer.

......... Dean Baquet, the executive editor of The New York Times, said The Times was right to publish information about the whistle-blower. “The president and some of his supporters have attacked the credibility of the whistle-blower, who has presented information that has touched off a landmark impeachment proceeding,’’ Mr. Baquet said. “The president himself has called the whistle-blower’s account a ‘political hack job.’’’ ........

Reporting any identifying information about the whistleblower is reckless, for it can place the individual in harm’s way. The whistleblower has an absolute right to anonymity!

Why? So Trump and every Trump bootlicker can smear him/her and make that person's life hell like Christine Blasey Ford, who had the courage to step forward into the public glare? Trump has already called the whistleblower a "spy" and spoken of what they used to do with spies. What kind of message to you think he is putting out to his red hatted fanatics if they knew the whistleblower's name?

Twist on catch-and-kill:

DOJ telling ODNI "don't show whistleblower complaint to Congress;

instead refer it to DOJ bc it alleges campaign-finance crime"

& then swiftly closing case,

echoes National Enquirer purchasing-but-then-not-publishing stories re Trump extramarital affairs

On May 13th Russian state TV reported that no US officials would be attending the inauguration in Ukraine, on direct orders from Trump.

According to the #WhistleblowerComplaint, on May 14th Trump ordered Pence not to attend.

How did the Russians know that?

Russia’s Fingerprints Are All Over Trump’s Ukraine Whistleblower Scandal

Prominent figures on Russian TV have been openly putting out the same ideas that we now know the American president was privately pursuing.

U.S. ambassador pressed for Ukraine corruption fight before ouster-

"...... many in the diplomatic community in the U.S. and around the world were appalled, believing she had been improperly removed from a sensitive post at a critical moment, as a new president without any previous political experience was taking office in a struggling country in dire need of American economic and military aid in an ongoing fight against Russia-backed separatists. ....

In fact, it was only because elements of the Ukrainian government wanted her to ease up on pressing for investigations into corruption — and expected her to do so because they perceived Trump would care less about the issue — that they began a campaign against her, ......

Kurt Volker steps down as US diplomat for Ukraine

Volker's resignation comes amid reports that he was involved in the Trump-Ukraine investigation

.....Kurt Volker resigned from his position as the U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Friday, following reports he collaborated with Ukraine and President Donald Trump.

An ASU official confirmed Volker's resignation Friday, and said the University could not speak about his future at ASU because the University does not comment on personnel matters.

Volker met with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Friday to announce he would be resigning, the official said.

Volker’s name was mentioned in the recent whistleblower complaint, which has sparked an impeachment inquiry for Trump. Trump has defended his actions, including a phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky where Trump requested dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden.....

According to the complaint, Volker helped organize meetings with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Ukrainian officials.

The complaint also alleges that Volker went to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, to help guide Ukraine officials on how to handle Trumps’s demands. .........

White House also restricted access to Trump's calls with Putin and Saudi crown prince

======================================

Another part of the #WhistleblowerComplaint appears to now have been confirmed,

namely that locking down the Ukranian transcript was not the first time the @WhiteHouse

had done this.

With every passing day, the #WhistleblowerComplaint becomes more and more credible.

"Mr. Trump has quietly been urging a deal to reduce tensions between Ukraine and Russia that would pave the way for a removal of Western sanctions on Moscow,
long a goal of Mr. Putin’s." .........

"Mr. Trump himself hinted that was his goal when asked about Mr. Zelensky two weeks after the July 25 call.

“I think he’s going to make a deal with President Putin, and he will be invited to the White House,” Mr. Trump told reporters."

........PROOF OF CONSPIRACY: Remember that the grand bargain requires Zelensky to make a deal w/ Putin on Crimea/sanctions.

What does Ukraine get?
A contract related to the nuclear deal Rick Perry is working on.

Who did Trump send to Zelensky's inauguration?
Perry.

Rick. May have been there but I can't believe that he's smart enough to even know what was actually going on.

Anyway, knowing him, that would be a good defense when he goes on trial.
