Laura Ingraham: “There was no real scientific basis” for social distancing

Laura Ingraham told her viewers tonight that there is no scientific evidence that social distance works. She quoted an unnamed Doc as saying viruses just spread, you can't stop them. This is exhibit 459 in the class action lawsuit she and Fox are going to face.

Well this is brain dead. The Fox News medical consultant says taking hydroxychloroquine is dangerous. Yet Fox News Talking Heads are promoting it because the president is promoting it

and says that he takes it.

The next question to ask them is:

If the president goes out and jumps in the Potomac, would you follow him too? LOL

Fox can't get its story straight: While one host zings Trump for taking hydorxychloroquine, another host encourages its use. While one medical contributor calls it "highly irresponsible," another says it's "reasonable." What are viewers to believe? http://cnn.it/36j4oSE

Hey,  I'm glad that some Fox hosts,  like Neil Cavuto,   are allowed to broadcast their POV and haven't been fired yet.

Of course Cavuto could have left like Shepard Smith,   but then that would leave Fox viewers with only one POV;  one that aligns with Trump and his admin and their total line of BS.

Certainly, not giving factual information about the pandemic as it has been released by the CDC, the top America epidemiologists and the World Health Organization is a cruel and inhumane thing for Fox and Hannity to do.

And it's a total shame if people have suffered physically and/or financially by this misinformation.

However, people who watch Fox and read or listen to other extreme right-wing media vehicles of misinformation are adults and are already looking for a certain viewpoint when they tune in.

These people are not really victims, they are getting what they want in terms of an information product.

If the facts have been altered to suit their beliefs or their Narrative as a Target audience oh, well then who is to blame, really.

People buy what they want--

People listen to what they want to hear.

And some people believe what they want to believe.

Fox News Staffers Erupt Over Network’s Racism:

Bosses ‘Created a White Supremacist Cell’

:.........One employee was especially angry, saying, “They created a cell—they created a white supremacist cell inside the top cable network in America, the one that directly influences the president… This is rank racism excused by Murdoch.”

Fox News has an apparent racism problem, and it’s not just the network’s critics who notice it. Anger over the cable giant’s shoddy coverage of racial issues is also increasingly coming from inside the building.

Over the past month, the network’s Black employees, including on-air talent, have begun to openly confront management over Fox’s anti-Black rhetoric—especially that of the network’s biggest stars, Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson.

Fox News personnel have expressed outrage to network brass over their unwillingness to rein in hosts like Ingraham, whose primetime show—helmed by Tommy Firth, the same executive producer behind Megyn Kelly’s former Fox show—has long made white grievance politics a core feature.

On June 29, she did an anti-Black Lives Matter monologue which included a line that many viewed as a racist dog whistle and threat: “We will remember those who desert their colors.”.......

.........Carlson warned viewers that a Black Lives Matter “mob” will “come for you.” Fox News PR scrambled to claim his tirade was actually just about Democrats and “inner city politicians,” but some of the primetime star’s co-workers weren’t buying it.

“Bull. ****. They have the script written that gives them an out,” one Fox staffer told The Daily Beast. “But what the viewers hear is the white supremacist crap. And that crap goes straight to the White House.”.......

..... the network frequently deploys right-leaning Black contributors and guests to give cover to racially insensitive content. “That’s something they routinely do—they turn out these people, like Candace Owens, to support these things, and use Black apologists to denigrate other Black men and women and victimize them.”.....

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/fox-news-staffers-erupt-over-150024491.html

-_-

Apparently some black Fox News employees just woke up and realized that they were working for Fox.

And they don't seem very happy about it.

You can call Fox News fake news, irresponsible reporting or just downright lying.

But in all fairness to this capitalistic money making Outlet--

Our economy works on supply and demand--

If there wasn't an audience in this country for this kind of lying crap, then Fox News wouldn't exist.

The real tragedy is that there are enough people in a country like the United States who you are so racist, ignorant and poorly educated as to demand this kind of false and bigoted information.

Fox News didn't create these substandard people.

The Murdochs who own and run Fox, are simply hardcore amoral capitalists who have the savvy to know how to economically take advantage of them.

'Fox News is in a race with itself to the bottom': Lou Dobbs retweets fans attacking network for cancelling his high-rated show after voting firm Smartmatic filed $2.7billion lawsuit, and thanks Trump for his support

Lou Dobbs retweets fans attacking Fox News after his show was canceled

Fox News host Lou Dobbs has taken to Twitter to thank his followers for their support while retweeting fans criticizing the network, hours after his long-running show was abruptly pulled off the air.  The cancellation of Fox Business Network's Lou Dobbs Tonight on Friday came as a shock to viewers, many of whom have accused the network of trying to silence the outspoken host.  The 75-year-old was one of the network's staunchest supporters of Donald Trump and had repeatedly pushed the president's claims of voter fraud and assertions that he won the 2020 election on air. Dobbs on Saturday responded to a flood of messages of support from fans, including Trump who released a statement saying the host 'is and was great' and that 'nobody loves America more than Lou.' 'Thanks for your kind words Mr. President. God bless you and all the American patriots who make this country great,' Dobbs replied in a tweet. The commentator also retweeted numerous posts from followers slamming the network's decision to pull the plug. Former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka shared a tweet saying: 'He's a Patriot. He speaks the Truth. He doesn't back down. That's why @FoxNews had to cancel @LouDobbs #FOXisFinished'.

The Lou Dobbs show was NOT a high-rated show.   While it was the highest rated show on the Fox Business channel,  the overall ratings for the channel were low when compared(ranked) against shows on other news related talking-heads show.

Look for Fox to drop the 2 others,  Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro,  as part of a deal with Smartmatic to have Fox dropped as a defendant in the Smartmatic defamation  lawsuit.

But Australian, Rupert Murdoch knows all about "American values" and even then is doing nothing via Fox News to influence or 'control our democracy.'

'He knows nothing about American values': British Coca-Cola CEO is savaged for weighing in on Georgia voting law... as Tucker Carlson accuses the soft drink boss of trying to 'control our democracy'

Coca Cola CEO James Quincey has been slammed for publicly speaking out against Georgia's new voting laws following mounting pressure from activists and Democrats. The British-born businessman called the controversial new bill 'unacceptable', claiming it does not 'promote principles we have stood for in Georgia.' Quincey, who is from London, joins a growing list of corporations, including Delta and the MLB, that have condemned the state's controversial new bill signed into law last week, which critics believe will unfairly restrict voting rights and curtail the influence of Black voters. His comments were slammed Friday by Tucker Carlson and social media users alike who took issue with British-born businessman's meddling in American politics. 'It's not clear how long the CEO of Coca-Cola has been in this country, but just to restate: Just because you run a soft drink company doesn't mean you get to control our democracy,' Carlson wrote in an opinion piece Friday. 'James Quincey I think you should keep your mouth shut. You should go back to the UK. We stopped listening to people like you and your country back in 1776,' one user tweeted. Earlier on Friday Gov. Kemp (bottom right) appeared on Fox News' where he blasted the MLB for giving into 'cancel culture' after it pulled its All Star game from the state. Former President Donald Trump (top right) called on supporters to 'boycott baseball' accusing the MLB and corporations of 'interfering with Free and Fair Elections.'
