There was a stage production of it a couple of years ago in London that was performed in London County Hall, which was previously used as the seat of local government for London.  The room looks somewhat like a courthouse, and the stage is in the middle of the floor, so you feel as though you're in a courthouse.  I took a friend who had never seen the play or movie, and it was just as entertaining watching his reaction at the ending as it was watching the actors on stage.
