HollywoodGolightly
This just started on TCM right now. I remember having seen it before, it's a great movie with a dazzling performance by Bette Davis as a nightclub hostess who is urged by the D.A. (Bogart) to testify against her gangster boss. To avoid spoilers, I won't say _why_ the movie is called Marked Woman - but it's definitely worth watching!
genine
Glad this is on this thread... I was wondering whether "Marked Woman" was considered a film noir, even though it wasn't made exactly in the 40s. I'm doing a research project on film noir. V-V

V-V genine, Actually, I started the thread in here because I consider it more of a gangster movie (she's going to testify against her gangster boss). Many people would just consider it a drama. Good luck with your research project!
