Re: recent broadcast of “It’s Alive” - that was not the full length, uncut version. It seemed to be a cleaned up for regular broadcast TV version. That was disappointing because I’m used to seeing uncut movies of all types on TCM.

I hate it when that happens. I agree 100% - if TCM is not showing the real movie, I'd rather not see it at all. Going with dead air would be preferable to me.

Of course, if TCM didn't realize it had received an edited version of the film prior to running it, I suppose it could be understood. But maybe they could try a little harder to check.
