Coronavirus Epidemic

There have been medically documented cases already of people who had it and then a few months later got it again.

If that's the case, the vaccine will be useless to some. :(

Doesn't make any difference if your body developed antibodies from exposure or the shot.

Is the 2nd time around  like the 24 hour flu bug - your body is fighting another bout but more vigorously because of  past exposure from the same strain?

Yeah, but SARS had it's chance and didn't spread as far and deadly as cousin Covid.

Actually SARS is more deadly, thank God it didn't spread as far!

Excerpt..The World Health Organization (WHO) today estimated the overall fatality rate for SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) patients at 14% to 15%, significantly higher than previous estimates. The agency estimated the rate for people older than 64 years to be more than 50%. :o

Referring to mortality RATE  per 100,000 cases  which varies depending upon where one lives.

In the U.S. it's about 2.3%

Mexico has 9.3%

Czechia 1.3%

Source...John Hopkins Universary

Far as the Avian flu..

As of 2008, the official World Health Organization estimate for the case-fatality rate for the outbreak of H5N1 avian influenza was approximately 60%

Heaven help us if this thing mutates, easily transmissible from person to person. :o

So don't anyone give me any bull it's no big deal!

'Breakthrough finding' reveals why certain Covid-19 patients die

Research shows Covid-19 patients with life-threatening illness have antibodies that disable key immune system proteins called interferons.

"........Interferons are like a fire alarm and a sprinkler system all in one," said Rasmussen, who wasn't involved in the new studies.

Lab studies show that interferons are suppressed in some people with Covid-19, perhaps by the virus itself.

Interferons are particularly important for protecting the body against new viruses, such as the coronavirus, which the body has never encountered,..........

Guess Trump was right to withdraw from WHO, since they don't know what in the hell they're talking about judging by that idiotic reply.

You know very well I'm right and won't admit it, just want to keep this thing politicized!

Are you afraid H5N1 might happen under Biden's watch?

Why don't you just admit that trump has really disappointed you. He's disappointed you in his Coronavirus abdication of responsibility. And he's disappointed you in general.

Don't you think he should concede at this point?

And you seem to be complaining about people not wearing masks,

people not social distancing,

people not taking covid-19 seriously.

Well you supported trump all these years and he hasn't taken it seriously --what do you think of that?

He's the one who politicized the masks and that's one reason why we have all these people dying-- not to mention that he hasn't done anything in terms of a national policy to direct this thing.

Since you're a trump supporter, I like to know if You've got an opinion on all that?

A South Dakota ER nurse @JodiDoering says her Covid-19 patients often “don’t want to believe that Covid is real.” “Their last dying words are, ‘This can’t be happening. It’s not real.’ And when they should be... Facetiming their families, they’re filled with anger and hatred.”

CNN and MSNBC not even bother to cover WH Covid Task Force briefing with Pence (probably useless)

Probably waiting for footage of the guys in white coats hauling off Giuliani!  ;)

Anyway......

How about a little THEME MUSIC for those having to work from home----------
