Trump is signaling interest in scaling back "social distancing" and other steps promoted by health officials as a growing number of conservatives argue that impact on the U.S. economy has become too severe

More from that piece. Looks like Republicans are encouraging Trump’s idiotic push to end social distancing. This is dangerously foolish.

once again medical experts are telling trump to do one thing, but the president prefers to listen to fox news instead

BREAKING: Dr. Fauci is warning Trump officials NOT to listen to growing push among WH advisers, GOP lawmakers to restart the economy

But Trump is alarmed by stock market & impact of high unemployment for 2020 election -- & weighing easing restrictions

GOP Senators, WH advisers are urging an easing of restrictions b/c of the economic impact

More than 30K in US have already tested positive & public health officials say we need *more* restrictions, not fewer

Harvard epidemiologist Marc Lipsitch: “Now is the time to tighten restrictions on contacts that could transmit the virus, not loosen them ... If we let up now we can be virtually certain that health care will be overwhelmed in many if not all parts of the country."

Here's video of Larry Kudlow telling Fox News that "the president is right" about possibly ending social distancing after 15 days:

"The cure can’t be worse than the disease and we're gonna have to make some difficult tradeoffs... I spoke to the president about this very subject"

Worrying about the election and ignoring experts has worked so well for him so far.

A little off topic, but if you're like me, you need paper products...and I just found Bounty paper towels on Walmart.com...again!...to ship (they haven't offered them for at least a week, and they probably won't last)...since I also have NO tp, I threw in some baby wipes (also going fast...), ...and a big bag of york mints...aha--free shipping.

As of 2018, the US population is 327.2 million

China has 81,601 out of a population of 1.386 BILLION (2017 stats)

Uh Iran, is there another one?

So that means our infection rate is HIGHER than China’s, and doubling roughly every 2 days.  With Donald Trump, we are “WINNING” the infection rate of Covid-19.  You must be really proud!!

Think the panic buying is over.  Dollar Stare shelves were fully stock, clerk was price tagging today.

Here trump going for

The Ebenezer Scrooge Award of 2020--

trump is trying to take Healthcare away from low income and indigent Americans in the middle of a pandemic in the United States.

That's got to be the definition of a sociopath.

Was only stating the population to Corona case ratio.  That number is low considering the population DENSITY.  China has been relocating people out of rural areas into their ever FAST growing cities during the past decade.

Japan has about 1,091 Corona cases, that country seems to be lucky (so far) considering people are packed in like sardines.

Joe Biden said President Trump was slow to recognize and respond to the coronavirus, and that Trump continues to show a lack of understanding of what needs to be done to address the rapid spread of the virus across the U.S.

Whatever the reason for your post, you pointed out how quickly and soon we will be Number one in infections, probably in less than a week or so.  And the Effing Moron of your leader is about to pull the rug out on the mitigating factors, which will make the growth rate until now seem sluggish.

Msybe your pride in Trump getting us to No1 will have you and other supporters wear new red caps with the emblazoned

MADR: Middle Ages Death Rate.  All thanks to another ignorant foolish leader.

Yeah, everyone should stay within their own country, produce things solely in that country, only

buy things made in that country. and not export or import things to or from other countries. That'll

work just fine.

Saw a repeat of part of Donny's daily dumpster fire. Pence had just finished speaking and some guy

with a lot of fruit salad went to the podium. Pence looks at Billy Barr, who is maybe two feet away

and Barr looks to the other side as if he's thinking of moving farther away from Pency, but he just

stands there and doesn't move. Damn, these folks are a laff riot.

We seem to got the short end of the stick.  Exported technology and jobs.  Imported junk, microbes, and invasive species.  Now that just plain stink(bug).

Worldwide spread, thank globalism

Thank Christopher Columbus--

He's the one who started globalism. LOL

And there's enough blame to go around for Amerigo Vespucci--

He's the one that drew that map where the world wasn't flat.

Naughty Globalist Boy-- And all he got for it was that they named the place after him.

Christopher Columbus did NOT set out to create globalism.  He was trying to find another way to India , hence why Native Americans were mistaken for "Indians",  a name which stuck.  Columbus had absolutely no knowledge of microbes which he and those that followed brought.

We have the benefit of history, he had no future fortune telling crystal ball to inform what his voyage unintentional  brought and will continue to bring.

Stinkbugs are pretty easy to kill and kudzu is lovely if invasive. You can't have free trade where everybody receives the

same exact benefit. If a company can cut its labor costs significantly by making their products in another country of

course they're going to do it. That's just business 101. Globalism of the economic type is here to stay.

I don't think we get the short end of the stick at all. Right now I'm talking with you with a Samsung tablet from South Korea.

Terrific technology.....
