Donald Trump knew in January dangers of Coronavirus. Didn’t buy, produce mass tests. Didn’t push social distancing until mid-March. Used microphone to distort, distract severity of COVID19 to flu. Continues to lie about treatments; over factual, medical and scientific information

Dr. Anthony Fauci says U.S. will have “millions of cases” of COVID-19 and more than 100,000 deaths. Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, is the U.S. government’s foremost infectious disease expert.

A deadly virus is spreading from state to state and has infected 15 million Americans so far. It's influenza

The novel coronavirus that's sickening thousands globally -- and at least five people in the US -- is inspiring countries to close their borders and Americans to buy up surgical masks quicker than major retailers can restock them.

There's another virus that has infected 15 million Americans across the country and killed more than 8,200 people this season alone. It's not a new pandemic -- it's influenza.

+ 3.3 million jobs lost-- that's how many people have filed for unemployment recently.

Plus the Coronavirus has put a complete stall on the American economy.

More than 2,000 Americans have died from the Coronavirus and unfortunately this appears to be just the beginning.

That's where the news coverage is and that's where the news coverage should be.

Governors are pleading for federal assistance, Governors are pleading for an organized cohesive federal leadership and guidance.

Yesterday Kansas Governor Laura Kelly put the entire state on a stay-at-home executive order.

The Governor confirmed what other governors have been saying all over the country--

She said Kansas is being forced to bid against other states, and even the federal government for necessary medical equipment and supplies to fight this pandemic.

Governor Kelly called for leadership on the executive level of the federal government to do their job.

I live in the Heartland and I can tell you that Cuomo is not on any ballot in Kansas.

Plus Cuomo is not even running for president in 2020.

Plus I can also tell you that there are Italian Americans who live in the Heartland and they don't appreciate your stereotyping them at all.

so who's really doing the advising?  from Sports Illustrated:  Report: President Trump Turns to Alex Rodriguez for Help With Coronavirus Response

oh, well that makes sense....

Knowing trump and his sense of New York celeb- identity,

Next he'll be calling the rap singer Kanye West for advice on what to do about the Coronavirus pandemic that is killing thousands of Americans.

All I can say is I didn't vote for him.

it's official from World Health Organization

America is #1

A more accurate report would be the percentage of the population of each.  Although this does look bad for the US and Trump administration regardless.  As more people get tested and more people get exposed in US, it will get worse.

Iraq is cratering on almost every front. Terrific, chilling reporting by

While it will take a while, I have wondered about the long term effects on the way people live.  Will retail stores recover?  Will schools do more on line, stay at home education?  Will there just be far less face to face interaction across the board - banks, doctors, etc.? Will more workers be allowed to work from home?  Will people get into habit of not eating at restaurants as much?

Nobel laureate leads push for simple made-in-Canada ventilator

Arthur McDonald, a Queen’s University professor who shared the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics, is leading an effort by Canadian scientists at two national laboratories to produce a stripped-down, easy-to-manufacture hospital ventilator in time to meet an urgent demand for the machines because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Researchers at the TRIUMF particle accelerator in Vancouver and the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories at Chalk River, Ont., are now aiming to complete two working prototypes of their ventilator, one at each location, over the coming week.
