Coronavirus Epidemic

Recommended Posts

I saw a report from a hospital in Houston.  They are testing whoever comes through the door.  Of the people NOT coming to the hospital because of the virus, 47% are testing positive.

Viruses don’t care about your politics, but it’s been interesting to watch GOP officials suddenly change their tune about masks now that their constituents are dying in significant numbers.

Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Arizona all have Republican Governors who cared more about their political capital with trump than the about the lives of Americans in their own States.

NEW: Anthony Fauci testified that he would "not be surprised" if the U.S. begins reporting as many as 100,000 new coronavirus cases per day, adding: "I'm very concerned and not satisfied with what's going on because we're going in the wrong direction."

Dr. Fauci testifies: "We recommend masks" for anyone who goes out, especially where social distancing is not possible & "you should avoid crowds where possible." If you do go outside & you can't have six feet of space from other people, "you should wear a mask at all times."

Kansas Gov Laura Kelly is now ordering Kansans to wear face masks in public spaces beginning July 3, as coronavirus cases surge upwards across the state and nation.

The Democratic gov. is expected to get major conservative backlash-good for her.

There are no beaches in Kansas.

But the Sunflower State has its share of meat packing plants, federal and state penitentiaries, army forts and a plethora of beer joints called Aggieville in Manhattan Kansas across the street from Kansas State University.

K-State students can't give them up.

K-State is number one in animal husbandry, and caters to rural students from right-wing backgrounds.

Every state is different, and every state has it's own pitfalls and traps for covid-19.

This is what happens when your population lacks critical thinking skills. Massive COVID-19 outbreaks, QAnon conspiracies, and the popularty of OANN and Youtube grifters and are symptoms of dangerously stupid society.

I don't think it's necessarily a matter of an ignorance of critical thinking.

People who are filled with hatred,  bigotry and racism can have a decent education and IQ level, and still believe illogical and ridiculous lies--

if it suits their hate narrative.

trump and the GOP do not understand that there can be no long-term improvement in the economy until the pandemic is gotten under control.

Fighting the American medical community and the responsible governors in the states, who are trying to maintain some kind of containment for the benefit of American lives and the survival of the American Medical system, will only make the pandemic worse and send us backwards medically and economically.

What are people doing this 4th of July weekend?  Staying at home...don't count on it.

It was stated on the news the other night, it's too late to contain or control Covid, that ship has already sailed.

Ironic that it is the "populists" that are killing their own people.  You have to ask yourself why on earth are they "popular."  I guess people all over the world are not so smart.

The pattern applies to the effing Moron Donald Trump.  He continues to push his populist, but unsafe, message to his adoring, vulnerable fans.

Not that you need another reason to defeat Donald Trump, but everyone should know that our tax dollars are being used to pay for this super spreader event.

You get a pandemic that is bigger than the1 in China. That's what you get when you get a president who doesn't give a damn about American lives and sets a bad example himself for his own egotistical gratification.

This holiday weekend, let’s be safe and smart. It’s going to take all of us to beat this virus. So wear a mask. Wash your hands. And listen to the experts, not the folks trying to divide us. That's the only way we’ll do this—together.

Another top trump campaign leader is down with covid-19 after attending the Tulsa rally.

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain also may have caught the virus in Tulsa.

Cain is the campaign co- leader for "Blacks Voices for trump". 😊
