man oh man this pandemic business is really getting crazy and the democrats have a zero working relationship with trump. last nite I heard on abc news that 4000 are quarantined in NYC...

good! everybody has to chip in. :)

they must remember that they are good little nyc liberals and that they are assisting the rest of humanity by helping to contain coronavirus.

their hearts must be glad.

So what about Trump saying he doesn't want to let those people off of the ship on the west coast?  He doesn't want "his" virus numbers to go up and he says he didn't create the problem.

Is that what you do when a hurricane hits one of your islands?  You say you didn't create the problem?

He's the worst f-ing leader the Untied states has ever had, bar none.

Pretending he is the slightest bit interested.  Pretending that he understands any of this ...

Pretending that he is an expert just like he did on The Apprentice.  And fools believe this.

The American people CANNOT TRUST the Trump administration.

They were SLOW to recognize the Coronavirus. They were SLOW on the distribution of test kits. And, they are SLOW in getting TRUTHFUL INFORMATION to the American people. Trump is a DANGER to the American people.

Just like the stupid wall on the southern border, Americans will be the ones who pay for the wall of ignorance Trump is building around coronavirus.

President Trump praises his own scientific skills: "All these doctors say, 'how do you know so much about this?' Maybe I have a natural ability, maybe I should have done this instead of running for president." Trump says his uncle went to MIT and was a super genius.

Trump fired the U.S. pandemic response team in 2018

Then, as he focused on the borders, the coronavirus spread inside the US It spread mostly undetected, because almost no one was tested

As the death toll mounts, we are still way behind other countries in our approach

Other countries have leadership, emergency preparations and organization in place--

Plus a positive desire to do what is necessary to protect their citizenry--

not just what is necessary for political expedience.

Man will never eradicate disease. One of these days nature will give us something to really cry about.

Science gave us antibiotics, nature in turn gave us resistance organisms. Can thank incompetent doctors prescribing such when there were no secondary infection just because the patient demanded it. Antibiotics DO NOT work on viruses.

What happens if people afflicted with corona also acquire secondary MDROs?

A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that Americans' preparations to deal with the new coronavirus turned in part on their political views. Democrats were more likely than Republicans to say they were washing their hands more, limiting contact with others and changing travel plans.

$hit is about to get real for the GOP:

WASHINGTON — The American Israel Public Affairs Committee told conference attendees, some of whom include lawmakers, that at least two conference-goers have tested positive for coronavirus.

The pro-Israel lobbying group said in an updated statement to attendees, speakers, administration and Capitol Hill offices on Friday that the two individuals affected traveled from New York to Washington, D.C. to attend the March 1-3 conference.

"We have continued to remain in constant communication with the Westchester County Health Department and the DC Health Department which is coordinating with the New York Health Department, and national health authorities," the AIPAC statement reads.

Attendees and speakers at the conference included Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., former 2020 Democratic candidate Mike Bloomberg, former candidate Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and several other lawmakers on both sides of the political aisle.

The group's website says that more than about 18,000 people attend its conference from across the country, and that two-thirds of Congress participate.

AIPAC had previously alerted conference participants on Wednesday that a group of conference-goers may have had contact with a coronavirus patient before traveling to D.C. for the event, and that they would be under self-quarantine.

Why are they lying to us? The CDC won't give us a straight answer. The @VP won't answer it. Dr. Fauci won't answer it. And the Surgeon General won't answer it. How many Americans have been tested? Why did we not use the WHO test when we had a chance to?

Just got a look of guidlines for testing COVID-19 at a San Diego hospital and they are...really bad!

In order to get a test the patient has to have had close contact w someone w a confirmed infection

or travelled to an infected area.

But that's totally insufficient!

It never would have crossed his mind. He realizes that one is supposed to respect the flag -- and not use it as a prop.

I guess you were never a Boy Scout. One of the rules of flag etiquette is to never use Old Glory for advertising.
