Mine too.  About that long.  :D   Those little Walkman headphones weren't that bad, I used to carry a personal CD player in a "fanny" pack and use those headphones but discovered if I pressed them tighter against my ears with my straw Fedora I'd wear while cutting the grass and other yard work the sound was much better.  ;)   But since my TIA("mini" stroke)  I no longer do lawn mowing or other yard work and replacing the CD player(that did crap out on me) wasn't necessary.   And another thing.....

WHY do they call them "fanny packs" since NO ONE I've seen anyone who had one EVER wears them ANYWHERE near their "fanny"?

We could swing over to a new approach.  I had a thread going in a music forum I'm in that dealt with applying familiar classical themes to rock'n'roll songs.  Top of the list was...

Clever use, I always thought.  ;)

I don't know about anyone else, but a buddy of mine back in '74 or so for some reason really dug this guy and his LP.  Turned out it was Pontiac, MI native ARTHUR PENDRAGON (not sure it's his real name) who has long since passed away, and my buddy was the only guy I knew who had the LP.  Supposedly, the "hook" was his voice sounded almost identical to Jim Morrison's and the idea was that it might have been Jim( who had and still has followers who thought he faked his death) recording in secret. Or some such stupid bulls**t.  :  anybody here ever hear of this thing?

I never thought it was all that good, but the reminder of it came in like a flash when that buddy got in touch with me after nearly 40 years last night.
