Interesting concept, it's higher than the photo shows.  Better prospective, extra holes for air circulation.  If cat won't come out just slide mattress back.

Can you imagine having to move a king-size mattress each and every day to check for hairballs, vomit and half-eaten prey?

How much would a cat scratching the wood in the middle of the night affect your dreams/nightmares?

What fun having a cat doing its midnight zooming under your bed.

Could be good to sooth the nerves of a child, stating the cat will keep the monster away. ;)

People need to get over demoting Pluto a dwarf planet,  not a big deal.  It has gain a LOT of dwarf siblings, one is larger than Pluto itself. Even after it's discovery,  astronomers knew something was off about that little world.  How many thought out solar system layout was the standard for the rest of the galaxy.

The classification as: dwarf planet came from a completely unnecessary change of the definition of the word "planet" because the IAU wanted publicity. Their "important discoveries" were regularly relegated to fifth page "other news" alongside stories of potatoes that look like ducks and children who remember details of their previous lives. Only by committing an atrocity against both established science and the English language were they able to grab the front page and bask in the warm glow of attention.
