****, seeing the #Chicagolockdown is so weird. even in the early hours of the morning the city is bustling, much like New York City.
now, they’re both ghost towns.

it’s creepy, never seen my city like that before

So apparently my neighborhood has chosen to sing bon Jovi from our apartments... I have questions:

how drunk do we need to be?

Why bon jovi? Is there an appeals program?

Haven't we suffered enough? #Chicago #Chicagolockdown

Waiting for the coyotes to take over.

Est 2,000 live in the city limits. Are nocturnal and generally avoid humans. #Chicagolockdown

#ChicagoLockdown , everyone. We will still be operating
. - we've removed commission fees from our restaurants for pickup
- we've decreased the minimum for free delivery to $15 -
we're expanding park to shop deliveries out to the Western Suburbs

Stay safe!

6 tips I wish I knew before cutting my hair during the Covid-19 pandemic

Cutting your own hair is hard. Here’s what not to do.

With hair salons and barbershops closing around the United States to slow the spread of Covid-19, it’s not a reach to say this strange new reality will force many of us to take personal grooming into our own hands.

This led me to the decision to learn how to cut my own hair, and I’ll give the TL;DR up top: it didn’t go well. My haircut sucks out loud — and of course it does, seeing as how I have no idea how to cut hair.

Let’s start at the beginning...........

Tip: WATCH YOUR EARS

5. Don’t wear a sweater while cutting your own hair

This feels self-explanatory.

Tip: You’ll get roasted online if you do this.............

....... Everything is frustrating, but cutting your hair shouldn’t be. Just do what you want. Only the people you live with have to see it. Zoom calls can be done without video.

Hats can be worn. Just do it...........

Should be double feature with "What Happens If You Don't" (original title "Green Slime's Revenge")

Don't know if this has anything to do with the subject or not.

Like a phone booth, hope the operator don't ask for extra change. :P

Think there's a greater threat for that dog getting beat up by other dogs for wearing that shirt.

A Belgian woman with only 20% of normal lung capacity heard that her caregivers were short of masks because of the coronavirus pandemic.

So she started sewing masks at home.

The Imminent Small-Business Collapse

And what can be done about it

Small businesses aren’t facing cash flow problems.

They’re dealing with a sudden and catastrophic loss of income, which could extend for months.

"...........Their fate hinges on the emergency stimulus bill that Congress is negotiating this weekend. The stakes are massive. Without a substantial and rapid infusion of cash, many small businesses will have little choice but to shutter for good. If large numbers of local retailers, restaurants, service providers, and other small businesses go under, that would send millions of people to the unemployment lines and wipe out any hope of staving off a deep economic depression.

It would lead to the dissolution of a broad swath of the nation’s productive capacity and precipitate a sudden and unparalleled wave of market consolidation, handing corporations like Amazon and Walmart even more economic power. And it would leave all of us who are sheltering in place facing the bleak prospect of finally emerging from our homes only to find that many of the places we most love, the very fabric of our neighborhoods, have vanished.........
