......."With all regions of Illinois now out of Tier 3, we can now see that the entire state is headed down the right path,” IDPH Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike said Friday. “During the summer, we were on this same path. We know that we must continue to take precautions and be smart about how we relax some of the mitigation measures, which are in place to protect our health and safety.”

Can some person please confirm that I am reading this correctly: They now have proof that their system is working and so they are now going to change it. Is that right?

See you didn't got the joke...ever heard somebody say...if there's not a back door, I'll make one?

(Trypanophobia is an extreme fear of medical procedures involving injections or hypodermic needles.)

Geeze it was only a little needle.

"COVID-19 Resurgence Mitigations
The State of Illinois remains committed to following the guidance of public health experts by implementing and deliberately removing mitigations to keep communities safe. By adhering to meaningful mitigations throughout the holiday season, the state was able to decrease positivity rates, hospitalization rates, and hospital bed usage. Therefore, any region that has met the metrics for a reduction of mitigations will move out of Tier 3 to less restrictive measures (Tier 2, Tier 1, and back into Phase 4) beginning January 15, 2021. As the pandemic has evolved, so has the state's response. The key change to the state’s Resurgence Mitigation Plan announced in July is resuming indoor dining with capacity limits in Tier 1. View more about the mitigations........."

There have been so many opinions about what is correct, related to the virus. I'm not talking about the nuts -- I mean so many different opinions among reputable scientists. I had my Pfizer vaccine first dose and was given a second dose date exactly three weeks later. I was told that I must have it on that date, which is fine with me. A friend in London had the Pfizer on January 11 and was given a second dose appointment for early April. That's how the UK's NHS seem to be handling it.

There are alot of different opinions about this, and about how effective the vaccine is after one dose.  In any case, we're all glad to get it.

Nepal is receiving much of the vaccine made in India.  Humanitarian aid workers receives from other regions.

There is country wide hesitancy in Zambia due to different factors

Tajikistan mostly will come from Russia.

The United States have to rationalized what is made, even most won't receive it until March / April.

It is easier for small countries to distribute and administer the vaccine

Three countries have pulled far ahead of the rest of the world in distributing Covid-19 vaccines

Poor Kaylah, life isn't fair oh boo hoo.

Been trying to find a "media storage cabinet" and ones I like ultimately find out are out of production or manufacturer has shut down.  Probably related to Covid-19 and its effects on the workers available and supply chains.   What's disturbing is that some of the companies showing them on their websites still say they are available.  When I call, sorry no idea when we can order them to be shipped to you.

I saw a sign in front of CVS saying "rabies vaccinations given here February 15".  With CVS' inept management this could end badly, with cats and dogs vaccinated against Covid that day and people vaccinated against rabies.

Here's an example from the UK of where the far left merges with the far right:

Piers Corbyn arrested over leaflets comparing vaccine programme to Auschwitz

Brother of ex-Labour leader held over leaflets likening vaccination efforts to Nazi concentration camp

Yeah, it would ruin my day to discover I'm safe from Covid, but still at risk for ovarian cancer.  ;)
