Read Biden Accuser’s Account Of His Alleged Sexual Assault

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is battling a serious allegation of sexual assault, one his accuser says she brought to the campaigns of Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Kamala Harris, D-Calif., before they left the 2020 race. According to Tara Reade, while she worked as a staff assistant for Biden in 1993, the senator “began kissing her without her permission, pushed her against a wall, reached under her skirt, and penetrated her with his fingers,” as Robby Soave wrote in Reason.

According to journalist Katie Halper, who recently interviewed Reade, the woman’s brother and close friend “both recall Tara telling them about the incident at the time.” Compare that with Christine Blasey Ford’s reputation-destroying allegation against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, which has been denied by all alleged witnesses.

The Intercept reported that Reade attempted to bring her story to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund earlier this year, but the group declined to assist with the case, citing its nonprofit status. Per The Intercept, the public relations firm retained by Time’s Up is SKDKnickerboker; the group’s managing director, Anita Dunn, is the top advisor to Biden’s campaign.

Reade sat for an extensive interview with The Hill’s Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball on Thursday morning, where she responded to questions about why she stayed silent for nearly three decades and whether political motivations influenced her decision to speak out in 2020. In the interview, Reade said that she contacted the Warren and Harris campaigns hoping to share her story, but neither seriously followed up. Team Warren, Reade said, directed her to contact her local representative.

The Federalist asked both senators’ offices on Thursday to confirm whether either was made aware of the allegations on the campaign trail, but did not receive a response by press time.

Yet again when allegations come out against a Democrat, the other ones ignore it like it never happened.

Yet again we hear alleged victim(s)*  waiting YEARS to make a complaint. Funny how it's not embarrassing when someone runs for some type of office!

1993, it's simply too long!

(s)*  expect more to come.

Nobody gives a **** about this, obviously, or Twump wouldn't have gotten elected. But you feel compelled nevertheless  to create a new topic about it, why?

cigarjoe doesn't it bother you that a month ago your democrat mayor in NY said there was nothing to worry about with the virus, and now it has spread throughout the city? Almost half the cases in the country are in NY. You are lucky Trump is looking out for you.

What blinkered partisan fantasy world do you live it, MM? Here's Trump telling a rally on February 28 that the coronavirus is a Democratic hoax. He brags that there are no deaths that, in essence, all is fine. Today, with this President and his team so masterfully in charge to protect the nation, a mere 35 days later, 8,000 Americans are now dead from the virus, with Trump warning that the final numbers could be between 100,000 and 200,000. You're so busy trying to blame the Democrats for everything that you don't see how the Trump administration's blunders in its lack of preparedness for this killer virus is decimating the nation to a far greater degree than should have been the case.

We should petion the TCM message boards to reveal all the sycophants and enablers on here for the mass murder and his administration sitting on the board no? , so we can make sure when this is all over that his aiders, abettors and accomplices hiding under their cutsie pie aliases can be rooted out and dealt with when this is all over. No different than Nazi collaborators in my book.

Some of these right wingers are already paranoid as hell, cigarjoe. I rather think that statement only adds to it.

Yes call people deplorable's and Nazi collaborators will do just that, get out the vote for Trump, good job guy's !

Please don't forget all the conspiracy crackpots, religious hypocrites and racists that comprise many of the Trump followers, as well.

I'm not saying that all Trump followers fall into these categories, of course, but the odds are that  the vast majority of  people fearful of "others" and fundamentalists who turn their eyes away from a man who, among other things,  brags of assaulting women (with 12 or so women claiming he did it to them) and has separated children from their parents will vote for Trump. Do you question why some would deem many of them as "deplorable?"

It better add to it because this time it's for real and not jerk-off conspiracy theories. There will be bereaved relatives gunning for them.

You're talking about the kind of violent anarchy in which a divisive figure like Trump thrives and you're playing into his hands by doing so. You're only going to get a hostile, fearful response from Trump supporters. Talking about violence is never any kind of answer. Voting Trump out of office is the answer but, admittedly, it will be easier said than done since this man will do anything to remain in power. There are no rules with a guy like this.

This thread was started because a women claimed Biden sexually assaulted her and you mentioned "hypocrites", it doesn't take much for people who minimize what this women claimed to then be seen as hypocrites themselves.

How does it minimize the fact that you support a man accused by 12 women of assault? Now there's a single unfounded allegation against Biden. Are people to turn their backs on Biden and side with Trump because of that? It's one or the other when it's time to vote.

I see no history of sexual assault with Joe Biden. Trump has a history of sexual assault allegations (even bragging about it on tape), giving far more credence to those reports if only because of the sheer number of them.

All you and other Trump supporters are doing is loving to play the game "Got ya" when you have no more idea than anyone else if this single allegation against Biden is the truth. Morally you obviously couldn't care less since you support Trump with countless allegations of this nature.

When you can't win a debate, you have to resort to crying like a little girl. I'm hoping you and vautrin can get together and complete a brain someday.

No they didn't. They went after the top Nazi's, it wasn't a witch hunt. BTW we have free speech in this country, so if you don't like it, then go away.

The one who engages in witch hunts is your president, Donald Trump.  He fires people who are whistle-blowers in the government, positions that are protected by law.  But the fascist enablers of Trump in the GOP congress protect their fuhrer at all costs, and allow this to happen.  Trump is leading this country into totalitarianism l, with the GOP in lockstep (goosestep) with him.

Trump, etc.  may be letting the pandemic to get worse intentionally, and so he can then swoop in and declare Martial law.  He can then remain in power indefinitely.  This is becoming more and more plausible from a man who doesn’t want to leave office, but sees his chances of  being re-elected going down the tubes.
