Who has used George Floyd to justify mob violence?  Give us a quote or shut up.

You must not get MSNBC up in little Canada, they had on people saying just that. And the mob doesn't care about George Floyd at this point, it is all about anarchy and stealing.

There is no mob. There's protesters and there's looters, two different things. Don't lump the protesters in with criminals and any extremist groups that try to take advantage of the situation. The protesters have a right to be heard with grievances of police brutality against blacks that go back to, well, when didn't some bad cops oppress/murder them? Unfortunately you now have a President who, his eyes on the November election, tramples over peaceful protesters' first amendment rights with tear gas and stun grenades.

YOU HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO USED POLICE TO TURN AGAINST HIS OWN PEOPLE!!! DO YOU NOT KNOW AN AUTHORITARIAN LEADER IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY WHEN YOU SEE IT?

IF THIS HAPPENED IN ANOTHER NATION YOU WOULD SAY IT'S UP TO THE PEOPLE THERE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. WHEN IT'S IN YOUR OWN NATION, YOU ATTACK ANYONE WHO DARES TO CRITICIZE HIM.

Small-town police chief killed as officers in 3 cities wounded during violence at George Floyd protests

An officer in Las Vegas reportedly was on life support after being shot.

A retired St. Louis police captain who became a small-town police chief was found fatally shot early Tuesday outside a pawn shop that was looted after protests over the death of George Floyd turned violent.

David Dorn, 77, was discovered on the sidewalk in front of Lee's Pawn & Jewelry in St. Louis around 2:30 a.m., said Police Commissioner John Hayden. He said Dorn, who retired from the St. Louis Police Department in 2007 and had been serving as police chief of Moline Acres, Missouri, since 2008, was killed when he apparently tried to stop the looting of the shop.

"David Dorn was exercising law enforcement training that he learned here," Hayden said. No further details were immediately released.

His widow, Ann Marie Dorn, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that her husband was a friend of the pawn shop's owner and frequently checked on the business when alarms went off.
