Alhough AFI voted it A #1 all-time comedy in it's 100 YEARS...100 LAUGHS=(2000 or 01 poll)

Doesn't quite make my own top ten out & out comedy list?>=(meaning no comedy-dramas like THE APARTMENT & lots of others not included>

CITY LIGHTS, MODERN TIMES, A NIGHT AT THE OPERA, DUCK SOUP< ANNIE HALL, DR. STRANGELOVE, BRINGING UP BABY, HIS GIRL FRIDAY-(l.Maltin's pick for #1 by the way). IT'S A GIFT & SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS   are just mine

I can't think of a Jack Lemmon film  I didn't like.

He was great in both comedies and dramas.

And in addition to which, he was also a very humble and great man in real life.

Think my personal favorites of his are THE CHINA SYNDROME and MISSING.  But he never fails to crack me up in MISTER ROBERTS and SOME LIKE IT HOT.
