Last night MeTV aired the dick Van Dyke episode "That's My Boy" in which Rob suspects they sent him and laura home with the wrong baby.  He calls who he thinks are the real parents of the baby they brought home and arranges them to come to his house to straighten the matter out.  His jaw drops to the floor when he answers the door, and when he invites the other parents in we find out they are BLACK!  :D

I always loved this episode too, especially when Rob finds out that the other father (Greg Morris) realized the gaffe Rob made when he talked to him on the phone.  And when Rob asks, "Then why didn't you tell me then? "  and Morris replies, "And miss the expression on your face?"  :D

Starting this Sunday, July 5th, at 11 PM EST, ME-TV will be airing episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show. In 2019, Carl Reiner picked his 20 favorite episodes. In the month of July as a tribute to Carl Reiner, ME-TV will air 8 of those favorite Carl Reiner episodes, 2 every Sunday night. These are the 8  episodes ME-TV lists as airing.

July 5 - Coast To Coast Big Mouth

                 That's My Boy?

July 12 - It May Look Like A Walnut

                   The Curious Thing About Women

July 18 -  Never Bathe On A Saturday

Where Did I Come From ?

July 26 -  October Eve

                     All About Eavesdropping

I'm so glad that you posted this because I've been watching (and enjoying) these episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show. I'm glad MeTV is doing this extended tribute to Carl Reiner. He deserves it!
