Satire from the Borowitz Report

Not the news.

The executive director of the American Society of Presidential Fact Checkers said that President Biden has single-handedly destroyed the employment picture for many of the group’s members.

I can't support this decision.    I like said before I would be willing to increase the number of refuges if illegal immigrants already here were to leave as part of an exchange program.     2 illegal immigrants for every refuge allowed in.     Especially those illegal immigrants that have been in the USA less than 6 years or so.

Allowing more refuges without dealing with the illegal immigrants already here and that continue to come isn't a sound immigration policy (and certainly isn't a moderate one,  like Biden hinted he would seek).

You hear that Joe Manchin, Kristen Sinema, etc?   In other words, there is no bipartisan deals to be made across the aisle.  Mitch McConnelll said as much again yesterday, saying no GOP senators were going to vote for ANY Dem proposals.   You may as well Vote with the other 49 Dems, and give the American people the wins they are overwhelmingly in favor of.  Otherwise, if the GOP take either or both houses in the mid-terms, Biden is a lame duck.  Don’t YOU make him that!!!  We’ll all lose !!

The current GOP stands for subverting the Biden presidency, refusing to support any bill brought by Democrats and so forth.  More importantly it stands for absolute support of Donald Trump, Trumpism and all the evils that entails.

Of course, the Dems aren't sure what they stand for either.

Maybe they should ask all of their citizens to give back the $1400 while they are at it.

Republican states revolt against Joe's handouts: ELEVEN GOP governors now refuse Biden's $300 unemployment benefit that makes it 'impossible for employers to fill jobs'

The enhanced federal payments were created last year to assist those put out of work in the pandemic, but governors are now worried people are being incentivized not to return to work.

".......The Biden administration has firmly and publicly denounced Hamas for firing rockets indiscriminately at civilians in Israel. Yet it has refused to say a single harsh word to Israel publicly for its precision bombing of civilian targets in Gaza, instead repeating the constant refrain that “Israel has the right to defend itself.” .......

.......“By only stepping in to name Hamas’ actions — which are condemnable — & refusing to acknowledge the rights of Palestinians, Biden reinforces the false idea that Palestinians instigated this cycle of violence,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted on Wednesday. “This is not neutral language. It takes a side — the side of occupation.”

This is becoming a problem for Biden, who promised to put human rights at the “center” of his foreign policy..........

In March, a Gallup poll showed that 53 percent of Democrats favored placing more pressure on Israel to make compromises to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — a 10-point jump from 2018, and 20 points higher than in 2008.

That finding tracked with poll after poll showing liberal Democrats are less sympathetic to Israel than they were in years past, although most Americans still say they support Israel and America’s alliance with it.............."

What Hamas needs are better, more powerful, and more efficient missiles. In the end they will

lose anyway, so why not take out as many Israelis as they can.

Keystone would still be under construction and primary purpose was to transport Canadian oil to TX to be sent overseas, so no help to US anyway.  ALSO, even if Keystone existed and was sending oil to TX, the refined products would have to go through the Colonial Pipeline that was hacked, limp brain.

Who are the other 12%?  Not really aware of the details, but seems to me this is too many people receiving money from other taxpayers.

Something doesn't smell right here;    if 88% of the children in the USA really need some type of Federal government funding,   there is a much larger issue here as it relates to the overall US economic system.
