Nancy3659
I remember it was a young woman reciting the pledge but before One Nation Under God was added. Help! Thank you very much!
txfilmfan
Could be dozens of them. Any film made before June 1954 since that's when the phrase "under God" was added.
BrightSkyGazer
They showed one recently, though, that had the full pre-1954 Pledge recited by a group. I’ve got my thinking cap on & will try to go back & look at the schedule if I can’t easily recall what I was watching that day. No guarantee it would be the same film Nancy3659 is seeking.... ...hmmmmm... cogitation situation ensues.
MilesArcher
It's done in "Room For One More" (1952) with Cary Grant, but it's not a woman leading the pledge, it's Dabbs Greer..
DickLindsay
LITTLE NELLIE KELLY (1940) during the swearing in of new USA citizens segment.
Flamengo
I vaguely remember a movie with Claudette Colbert leading the pledge and noting that part was missing. Which I learned wasn't added until a later date. However, I cannot recall the name of the movie.
