Stuck on the name of a movie

I watched a movie decades ago about a murderer who was found guilty. He escaped and started killing the jury members one at a time. One member had his head cut off because he was the "head" of the jury. Another one had his hand cut off because he "had a hand in his conviction". I know it sounds gruesome, but it always scared me to be on a jury. Since it was an old movie, I thought it might have been  Poe, or Hitchcock, or someone like that.  I have been searching for the name for years, but no one seems to know this movie.
