Trump tests positive for COVID-19

At present we seem to be experiencing a 'love, love, love' phase from Donald Trump.  He is no doubt feeling very vulnerable and is basking in the warm wishes he is receiving from friend and foe alike.  But if he recovers this will not last.  Like Caligula, Donald Trump will return to his own by nature ways and like Caligula he will become worse than ever.

Having survived the virus it will be 'I'm All Right, Jack.'  Trump will not care what happens to others.  He never did.  He will demand that everyone reopen everything and will throw caution to the wind because he's okay.  If so many die because of it, well, it is what it is.

Trump may well feel, too, that emerging from the hospital and saying that everyone should wear a mask will give his opponents the opportunity to hammer at him that this is his admission that his previous disdain of masks (which he will deny he had, of course) was a mistake, thus he was responsible for countless unnecessary deaths.

To tie this whole thing in with movies somewhat, does anybody remember this one from 1991?

From the Wikipedia:

"When the entire British royal family is electrocuted and killed in a freak accident outside Buckingham Palace while having a royal portrait taken, Sir Cedric Willingham leads a search for any surviving heirs to whom to pass the crown. After days of researching, his team finally locates a living heir in the form of an American named Ralph Jones. "

But Chris Christie is also ill, so that would be difficult this time.

White House officials believe POTUS was infected at the event for Judge Barrett on Saturday Sept 26.

They will not say when POTUS last tested negative
, raising questions as to whether he was tested at all
between infection and the debate Tuesday Sept 29.

This is important...

......7/ The White House refuses to answer as to when the president last tested negative.
This isn’t just an issue of the public’s right to know, it’s also a public health issue given that the president is contagious.

What possible justification is there for not sharing this info?

8/ When asked when POTUS last tested negative, Commander Conley said “I don’t want to move backwards.”

That is not an acceptable answer. The White House needs to say, on the record, when POTUS last tested negative........
