JackFavell
Th Brain That Wouldn't Die! That's it! I actually think Virginia Leith is prettier without her hair: Well, maybe not. And I loved Adele Lamont.

"Hurry up and take this picture" I know, isn't he the saddest thing? I couldn't even look that doggie in the eyes if I was going to the grocery store, cause I know he'd be giving me that hang-dog expression.

I tried everything I could to find Jennifer Jones with a pet dog or cat or even a bigger photo from the movie, but it was a no go. Maybe she had allergies. So here are some other Flushes: Oddly, this was the only photo of Katherine Cornell and Flush I could find. They are terrific! Errol Flynn with a Schnauzer! Even one with Scottish Deerhounds! > Where do you find them?? > -casablancalover, who is busy looking for a camera and corralling her Schnauzer.. CBLover- I cover the waterfront.... no wait. I looked high and low for these, scouring every possible nook and cranny of the internet. I have certain sources that have helped immensely. The world of Blog-dom is a treasure trove, but unfortunately the photos don't pop up when you just search for "classic stars with dogs". All you get are pictures of Paris Hilton... Ewwwwwww! I am breathlessly awaiting a pic of your beloved pooch.... Errol Flynn loved his dogs greatly. When one especially beloved pet was swept off the deck of his boat he couldn't speak of it without crying some twenty years later. This story upset me very much when I read it the other day. It makes me want to cry too.

DramaDamsel
Hey now, this'll work. Blondes done me wrong all my life, so this is my kind of thread! I keed, I keed. But I do tend to be more partial towards the dark haired folks... My favorites: The ever beautiful Ms. Hepburn Bette Davis Judy Garland And since I see we can list men as well... Cary Grant The obligatory Olivier Rudolph Valentino

JackFavell
*timothy* - that first Richard Burton photo is so beautiful. I've never seen him looking so handsome. :x *DramaDamsel* - Are those brunettes in order of preference, or just random? I'm curious if you have a top favorite, and I see from another thread that you like making lists. How about a top ten (or more) list of brunettes? You can do top ten males and top ten females if you like. I'd love to see your preferences.
Bronxgirl48
Woo! Lovin' all these cats and dogs! My favorites are Clark with what look like chow-chow pups, and Marlon Brando with his sweet white kitty. Virginia Leith is just so creepy to me in TBTWD -- I never even knew she had hair until I saw her in other things. (and I didn't remember the hair she DID have before the tragic accident that left her body-less) Remember Elena Verdugo as "Ilonka", the gypsy girl who poor hunchbacked J. Carroll Naish pines for in HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN? Here she is: Love those Diana Sands and Ruby Dee pix! They're two of my favorites. They're great together in A RAISIN IN THE SUN.
