2nd Trump impeachment in the senate next week

Recommended Posts

now mcconnell wants to delay the 2nd impeachment until february, sez he is in no hurry. those power distribution talks hit a snag and now mitch is playing hardball.

actually, he is doing them a favor because I think a 2nd impeachment trial will hurt the democrats...especially if Donny is acquitted.

Why would you want him to be acquitted? People died. If it was your brother that got killed, you'd sing a different tune.

As for unity, the GOP is certainly not united in its view on Trump. Many of them no longer support him and will vote for impeachment.

You are trying to mix different issues-- justice and unity. Probably because you are still being brainwashed by rightwing media which has a sick perversion in bending the truth to divide the nation even more.

To be technically correct, Trump has already been impeached for the second time.  The trial in the Senate is to determine whether or not to convict.  However, it will not happen until Nancy Pelosi sends the Article of Impeachment from the House to the Senate.

Just now, NipkowDisc said:

if the democrats know that Trump might not be convicted the whole exercise is just dumb.

however, I actually agree with pelosi. people did die which justifies the deal but if they can't get a conviction it is stupid.
