Athos
I agree with you. This is a quality list of performers. One of my favorite performances from Steve Cochran is in The Chase (1946). It hasn't aired on TCM before, but it is an enjoyable and worthwhile film.

TomJH
I find Steve Cochran to be a consistently effective actor. Whether playing a shallow womanizer stepping out with the trollop wife of an ex-serviceman (Best Years of Our Lives), a games playing psychopath (The Chase), gangster hoodlums (White Heat, Highway 301), a vulnerable confused man child (Tomorrow Is Another Day) or an alcoholic on the wagon seeking redemption (Come Next Spring) he has always been convincing in his roles. I agree that this actor is more than deserving of a TCM tribute.

darrylfxanax
Called “garish, grotesque” in the original NY Times film review, 1963’s Of Love and Desire is one of my favorite Steve Cochran pictures. Costarring with Merle Oberon, it is one of his last film roles.
