Reggie was the best friend of the aristocrat who owned this estate, which meant Reggie was the estate manager.

I'm not aware that Reginald Denny was in "Random Harvest". 

The estate in question was in Cornwall, England. And before it was in a Hollywood movie, it had been immortalized in a best-selling romantic novel written by an English woman.

Oh my bad. I mixed up Reginald Owen with Reginald Denny. 

I am not familiar with Reginald Denny.
