California (1977) - After the Civil War, Michael "California" Random, is released from prison and goes to Missouri with his partner William.   He is killed by bandits. California decides to return the belongings to his family and help them against outlaws.
Califórnia (2015) - Estela is going through the convoluted stage of adolescence. Her uncle, Carlos, is her hero, and the trip to California to visit him,  her bigger dream. But everything falls apart when he comes back to Brazil looking skinny, weak and sick.

And there's also Kalifornia (1993) in which Brad Pitt plays a journalist obsessed with the topic of serial killers.

I don't think this one's been mentioned yet.

We all know of Independence Day (1996) - all about ugly aliens invading earth and blowing up our buildings.

In 1983 there was a movie titled Independence Day that was very, very different from that. It was about a wife (Dianne Wiest) that was regularly being  beaten up by her husband (Cliff De Young).

Ok, the second movie is originally in Spanish, and I stick to English movies to make sure the titles are the some, but the contrast was so good, I couldn't resist.

The 1943 version is a fun film;    I like Betty Hutton when she is a secondary lead and she is fine in this one.   I.e. A little can go a long way.

Summer Camp
