The Subject Was Roses (1968) an excellent version of a play set in the 1940s, Patricia Neal and Jack Albertson have a troubled marriage and are dealing with their recently returned GI son (Martin Sheen). Judy Collins sings two of her songs on the soundtrack-"Who Knows Where The Time Goes" and "Albatross"

Coming Apart (1969)

Fancy finding this advert online! I saw the film at the Continental in Forest Hills, Queens. (The Ascot in the Bronx was my usual art house as a youth, but I was visiting friends in another borough that evening.)
