lzcutter
Mongo, That pix of "Brod" Crawford and George Burns scares me! But, the wonderful pix of young Clu Gulager (I loved him on *The Virginian* when I was younger) more than made up for it. And the pix of Lucy from last week, sure looks she had some sort of nose job done 'cuz that Lucy doesn't look so much like the Lucy so many love!

lzcutter
Joe, She looks like she has a plate on her head. What were some hat-makers thinking? This style hat and the turnip hat always make me wonder. What, hat-makers thought women wanted to look like dishware and tubers when they went out on the town? But I do like the snood. BTW, *loved* your YouTube video!
bansi4
Thank you, Lynn. Apparently in those days there were many mad hatters, especially Hedda Hopper. Glad that you enjoyed the video. I had fun doing it.

DramaDamsel
I love this thread! Candids are always so much fun. I'd like to contribute a few photos of my favorite couple: Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. On the set of That Hamilton Woman. Don't they just look suave. Attending a London play premiere. Viven (and more importantly, Larry) on the beach. Still in costume for Hamlet. On Douglas Fairbanks's yacht in '39. Attending GWTW premiere.

musicalnovelty
Happy Birthday Nancy Carroll! Let's hope that by this date next year TCM will have access to all her Paramount and Columbia films that have been off TV for so many years, and will give her a whole day birthday tribute! She's someone who definitely needs to be seen more on TCM.
