wouldbestar
Tiomkin and Steiner sharing a birthday? What a day for those of us who love beautiful stirring movie music! Also, why did I never notice that Charles McGraw looked like he could have been Kirk Douglas's brother? He was certainly as good an actor.

wouldbestar
I've always thought Denver Pyle was like Richard Gere-going gray made him sexier. Now I have proof. I keep trying to catch The VIP's so I can enjoy Dame Margaret's Oscar-winning performance once again. Maybe it will be on some other time besides midnight soon. CineMaven
I thought the same thing about Cesar Romero. He was gray when I was a little kid...but as I got older and got into classic films...I saw him with his wavy jet black hair. But he didn't look bad as an older man. Not bad at all. wouldbestar
Thank you for letting us know Zohra Lampert is still with us. Althought she is probably best known for ending up with Warren Beatty in Splendor in the Grass, she made me laugh and cry with so many other wonderful pieces of work. I hope she sees this and knows she's remembered.
CineMaven
Just had lunch with a friend here in TriBeCa and who passed by our window but Harvey Keitel. Oh wow!!! Wouldbestar, I'm a big Zohra Lampert fan. I'm really remembering her from "LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH." I thought she was an interesting actress.
