Just look at Sinatra's expression in the photo with Bogart and Bacall. He's Frank Sinatra, for God sake, and he looks starstruck ! I think most of the people in show business during the thirties were aware of just how lucky they were to be working and making a good salary and during the forties, they seemed genuinely grateful toward the G.I.s for the sacrifices they were making. It just seems that the more mediocre the performers have become, the less in touch they are. Link to post Share on other sites
