July, 1944 It was while she was at the Hollywood Canteen in 1943 and with baby,that a female Marine who had been quarantined with German measles left the hospital because she had to meet her favorite star and shake her hand and as a result of that meeting Tierney's baby was born severely handicapped, deaf and partially blind.So sad....
