She had a fabulous collection, and he of course let everybody see his rings and other precious gems at each performance. "You paid for 'em, Honey; take a look at 'em!" He was a friend of some people I knew long ago; her father hired him for his club early on in his career and he loved the family. I was always impressed with his talent, not just for music but for comedy and dancing. He knew what he was doing in show business and how to use it. The candelabra of course was inspired by the movie of the day, "A Song to Remember," which everybody saw. He hit just the right note by using it and dressing the way he did. I don't know the circumstances regarding this particular photograph but does O'Toole ever look tired.
