laffite Posted November 19, 2015 Share Posted November 19, 2015 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN YOUNG id 96 today (no doubt that he got lost in the time machine) Please indulge me this post, this man is the very image of a perennial local personality named Bob Dale who spent decades on television, hosting a number of various shows. I remember him fondly for an afternoon movie show in the 50s, a time when the movies of just a decade or two before were not that prevalent on TV. Commercial breaks he would speak extensively about the movie and the actors. quite excellent for the time. I enjoyed the shows immensely, perhaps my first introduction to the Classics and at a very young age. Mr Bob Dale died in 2008. RIP to you, sir. == No disrespect intended to Alan Young ...
