When I was a kid, I saw Larry Parks in *The Jolson Story* and I couldn't figure out whatever happened to such a great talent. That's simply one of the ugliest stories in Hollywood. But he and his wife Betty Garrett were such brave and strong people.

I'm SO GLAD we were protected from that terrible Larry Parks all these years. Wow - just imagine how bad life would have been if he'd been allowed to roam around, singing and making more films?!! Thank goodness we ended up with Ray Dennis Steckler and Doris Wishman instead! J. Edgar never had it so good...
