Interesting birthday people today, Joe ... If I'm remembering it correctly, Diana Dors left her husband Richard Dawson, and he was quoted later as saying thanks, because it started him on his television career in the States, and he was delighted to have custody of his boys, who lived with him.  He married gain later and had a daughter.

Una O'Connor was such an amazing woman.  When she showed up on screen you knew you were in for a treat.  She was such a bright personality she outshone the stars sometimes.  I loved her in "The Adventures of Robin Hood," and a favorite of mine, "Christmas in Connecticut" with Barbara Stanwyck.  So smart but so sensitive.  She was quite a strong character in person, as well.  I remember reading that she would ask politely for her fellow actors not to use Christ's name in vain in her hearing ... certainly a result of her convent upbringing ... and they would accommodate her because they really loved her.

MARGARET WYCHERLY (1881 - 1956)
In two of her best performances

Which explains why she was an Oscar-nominated actress.  These two mothers could not be further apart yet she nailed them both.  She made you feel sympathy for Ma Jarrett  even if her love for her son was partly responsible for his criminal career.  As for that photo, thanks for letting us see what a beautiful lady she was in her youth.
