wouldbestar
My, hasn?t January been good to Hollywood and we?re only halfway through. Stars and first rate supporting actors galore. It?s almost too weird to be true but I saw Osa Masson in a George Brent-Ann Sheridan movie, Honeymoon for Three, this week. I remember her from a lot of TV work in the 50?s and had never seen her as a young woman before. This photo is how she looked in the film. The Paul Birch color photo is interesting since I only remember him from B&W movies and TV. Another dependable actor like William Bendix. Finally, Morrow, Stack, Williams, Tryon, and Bridges. They really don?t make them like that any more.

MGMlion
Mongo, this thread is my absolute favorite! And that recent picture of Ethel Merman is great -- she never looked so good before. Could you possibly post a picture of "Gorgeous" Georgia Carroll? She was a real jewel and recently passed away. Many thanks for all you do. Pangborn
Interesting that Ernest Borgnine's second and third wives (Katy Jurado and Ethel Merman) had the same birthday.

ValentineXavier
I'm a Katy Jurado fan too. Perhaps my favorite film of hers is *One-Eyed Jacks*. She had good parts in lots of TV westerns, too, not to mention *High Noon*.
lzcutter
She and Slim Pickens are heartbreaking in *Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid*. The scene by the river never ceases to bring tears to my eyes.
