Thanks, Rosebette.

Actor James Murray is from the movie "The Crowd" in which he was excellent. Unfortunately he got into drugs and booze which ruined his career. He eventually drowned to death in the Hudson River at age 35.

Carmen Miranda died of a heart attack at the age of 36.

Dear Joe,

Did you notice the resemblance between Walter Reed and Audie Murphy? A dead ringer. And thank you for the lovely picture of Guy Madison and Gail Russell. What gorgeous children that they would have had.... Mary P. S. Happy Heart Day a few days early :-).

Mongo: Thank you for the opportunity to see all these fine actors back in their younger days. The Lorne Greene photo reminded us that he had a long career as a Canadian newscaster before movie and TV recognition down here.

Peggy Rea was second only to Frances Bavier as out favorite mom, aunt, or kindly neighbor. She will be missed.

Really liked the Lyle Bettger photo. He was one of the great villains of movies and TV but here he looks like the nicest guy on earth and handsomer than I remember on screen. George Segal looks a lot funnier in his shot than in that awful TV Land sitcom he's stuck in now. Good day's work, Mongo.
