wouldbestar
Even though it?s been over a week, I keep going back to that photo of Edward ?Chief? Platt who I only saw in middle age. Who knew there was a smolderingly sexy man in his past? Did he ever get the chance to be a lead? The smiling Lee Marvin was great too but somebody should have told him to douse that cigarette and we might have had him around a little longer. Thanks for the Celia Lovsky picture, too; is that a beautiful face or what?

wouldbestar
If it wasn't for Marjorie Main and Barbara Lawrence-who I saw with James Garner on a Cheyenne episode this morning-today could be valiant appreciation day as nearly all these men were so good at playing them. Hey, somebody has to give the story some conflict and often they are more memorable than the leads. That's why we "love to hate them."
