Who worked with ____________

Recommended Posts

Easy game. Name three or four costars that all worked with Person X.

Can be in movies, on TV, radio or on the stage.

Example:

Who worked with Nelson Eddy, Clark Gable & Lassie?

Screen Shot 2020-06-16 at 3.25.43 PM

Answer: Jeanette MacDonald

Easy...right? :)

(Hi TB,  Should we list the movies too or just the person?)

Just the person is fine, unless you want to go more in detail.

No idea. Maybe another clue please?

Sorry!  I didn't intend it to be a tricky one.

Jon Voight (Midnight Cowboy/ Catch 22/ Anaconda)

Let's just try a new one:

Ginger Rogers, Rita Hayworth, and Audrey Hepburn

Well, William Frawley appeared in an unreleased I Love Lucy movie (1953), unless you just mean that he appeared with all of them in the TV series. Although the film itself was basically just three previous TV episodes strung out into a feature film by adding some new interstitial material.

I meant the TV series. As I said in the original post, these examples can refer to television, film or stage collaborations.

Ah, sorry, I skimmed right over that somehow (...which is ironic since I was recently reminding someone else of the rules of a different game.)  In that case there are several possible correct answers, but I assume William Frawley is still one of them.

Next:

Peter Lorre, Marlon Brando, and Cate Blanchett

(hint: the respective films cover a more than 60-year time span)

How far back are we going with Peter Lorre?

1930s (but not German)

(big) hint: the person in question was also a famous stage actor

So we've got someone who did a film with Peter Lorre in the 30s but also did a film with Cate Blanchett?

Is the Blanchett film from the 90s?
