classicmovielover
I’m trying to find the name of a movie but I don’t know any of the actors that were in it. It was a black and white movie, maybe the 40’s. It was about a man that went to a mental hospital to visit a patient. The patients had taken over the hospital pretending to be doctors and nurses. If anyone cam help, I appreciate it. Diane

TCM will be airing that film tomorrow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedlam_(1946_film)
Mr. Gorman
There's a 1973 movie called DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT! with a similar plot-line. A young nurse (Rosie Holotik) goes to work at a secluded Florida asylum . . . but things are not quite as they seem.

jameselliot
In a Hitchcock hour episode, patient Ray Milland pretends to be the director of a mental hospital. The visitor is the real director's niece not a guy visiting a friend.
