jackpickford1
I wonder if it is possible for TCM to show some of Joan Crawford's non- MGM titles. I don't think I saw these listed in the library. Daisy Kenyon The Damned Don't Cry Harriet Craig Goodbye My Fancy This Woman Is Dangerous Female on the Beach Autumn Leaves The Story of Esther Costello The Caretakers Berserk I know AMC played some of these, but has TCM ever shown them?? movieslover1000
Daisy Kenyon is a 1947 20th Century Fox title. It is upcoming on FMC on Aug. 31 Damned Don't Cry is a 1950 Warner Bros. Would have to be leased. Harriet Craig is a 1950 Columbia Picture. Would have to be leased. Goodbye My Fancy is a 1950 Warner Bros. Ditto. This Woman Is Dangerous is a 1952 Warner Bros. Ditto. Female on the Beach is a 1955 Universal Picture. Ditto. Autumn Leaves is a 1956 Columbia Picture. Ditto. Story of Esther Costello is a 1957 Columbia Picture. Ditto. Caretakers appears to be a 1963 United Artist movie. If that is the case, owned by MGM. Ditto. Berserk is a 1968 Columbia Picture. Ditto. If TCM ever shown them, not a clue. moviejoe79
TCM has shown many of the titles mentioned on occasion. I think most of them were played during the tribute that TCM payed to Crawford when the new documentary about her came out last year. I remember watching "Goodbye My Fancy" on TCM so I know for sure they played that one, and I'd say most of the others have definitely been shown. TCM has payed a lot of attention to Crawford, since she's one of the more well remember stars of the Golden Age.
