jhfmyr
Hey folks, my father was trying to remember the name of a movie he saw as a kid. It was a black and white film about a man that kills his father who in turn haunts him through a painting. From what he can remember, he described the painting as a view down the driveway of the family's home (or something along these lines). The the son noticed a little white "light" appear in this painting at the end of the driveway that kept appearing closing each time he walked by it until he noticed it was his dead father haunting him. He thought that Michael Sarrazin starred in it, but he didn't see it in his filmography,
LuckyDan
Sounds similar to the pilot episode of Night Gallery, titled "The Cemetery" with Roddy McDowall. Aired November 8, 1969 https://genresnaps.com/night-gallery-the-cemetery-s1p1/
