Corto Maltese

Anyone else here a fan of Corto Maltese?   It's a 2002 French animated film and TV series based on the Hugo Pratt comic of the same name.  It's set in the early years of to 20th century, and the animation style is not unlike what Hanna-Barbera used for Jonny Quest, and the overall look owes a lot to Terry and the Pirates.   Episodes can be found on Youtube if you want to check it out for yourself.

If you follow any of the DC Comics based shows, every so often, they make reference to a fictional country called "Corto Maltese",  which is a nod to Hugo Pratt's creation.
