NipkowDisc
she passed away nine years ago on march 1st 2013. I thought she was one of the most gorgeous actresses I'd ever seen... the lovely Gail Kobe. 3
TopBilled
It's nice to see a thread created about her. Recently I watched her play a lady doctor in an episode of Rawhide. She was wonderful. As a kid that grew up watching soap operas in the 80s, and someone who studied the credits, I first became familiar with Gail Kobe as the executive producer of Guiding Light from 1983 to 1986. That was a renaissance period for the long-running sudser.
Fading Fast
I recognized her immediately from two (of the three) "The Twilight Zone" episodes she was in. Plus, if she had been a stuntwoman, Angie Dickinson would have kept her quite busy throughout the sixties and seventies.
lilypond
An exotic beauty, and good actress, who surfaced in a lot of shows like Perry Mason, The Fugitive, and Mannix. In one of my favorite "Fugitive" episodes, "Ticket to Alaska" she's part of a fab little ensemble cast including Geraldine Brooks, Murray Matheson, Tim O'Connor. It turns out to be a shipboard murder mini-mystery, and Gail Kobe is a good-natured social butterfly, with the requisite interest in David Janssen of almost every woman within his orbit. Wow, FADING FAST, I'd never considered her resemblance to Angie Dickinson before, but now I see it!
NipkowDisc
she gives good performances in two episodes of The Outer Limits, specimen: unknown and Keeper of the purple twilight.
Mr. Gorman
When I see that snap of GAIL KOBE it makes me think of JESSICA WALTER a little bit more than Angie Dickinson. But I can see a resemblance between all three ladies.
filmnoirguy
Debbie Reynolds would have turned 90 years on April 1. Jane Powell would have celebrated 93 years on April 1. Doris Day would have blown out 100 candles on April 3.
