NipkowDisc
never saw it before but it's on youtube. it's a bit play-ish I'm afraid. good actor Frank Lovejoy is more or less wasted. what's a sharp fed like him doing around that place anyway? so here's Lee Marvin as slob who delights in annoying the tomato Terry Moore. the opening scene is priceless and the best part of the film. soon we learn that slob is a red agent along with his buddy Len Lesser. not buyable because all slob wants to do is irritate babes. he exercises with keenan wynn and picks up a cruddy swordfish after a harpoon knocks it off the wall. whit bissell has been squeamish since d-day. like who's supposed to care? slob knifes a guy and the tomato starts thinking the professor frank lovejoy is a red agent. the red bs ruins the film. it would have been a much better little film if it had concentrated more on slob's antics with the tomato. the film opens with slob giving one hell of a monster smooch to the tomato.
LawrenceA
I always considered this one of the strangest Red Scare movies - pretty dumb, but pretty entertaining. 2
ElCid
Have seen this advertised on DVD, but never interested enough to purchase it. May try to find it on YouTube, but my cable, Tubi and YouTube lists combined probably have about 50+ movies, TV shows to watch.
