mrslovesmr
Last night we were watching Four's A Crowd with Errol Flynn, Olivia deHavilland and Rosalind Russell. Although the movie was made in 1938, about thirty-nine to forty minutes into it, the father bursts into Olivia deHavilland's room, sees her dancing around, then seems to say "what the f*** is going on?" He repeats it a few moments later. Did we hear correctly? 😟
Fausterlitz
No, you didn't. Maybe Walter Connolly's rather gruff delivery of his lines misled you. The exact dialogue (starting at 8:29 in this clip) is: Connolly: "Well, what is this?" De Havilland (offscreen): "Hello, grandpa." Connolly: "Well, what's going on here? What is this, a ballet school?"
