Tom C
I assume that TCM has decided to jump on the Pride month bandwagon with movies shown on 6/20/22. Desert Heart and tie me up, tie me down are two examples of movies that fall far below the usual standard of a classic movie. I can only hope that his was an experiment and not part of a trend by TCM. There are other venues for such movies, HBO for example. Let's keep the high standard of quality movies and get back to the content TCM is known for.
wbogacz
Hey! Lookee Here! You've got all of the TCM logo in your handle. And you're disturbed that it's trying to give you that "O".
Mr. Gorman
I've seen DESERT HEARTS before; it's not a sleazy exploitation movie. Takes place in Nevada in the late 1950s. Thought it was a decent "period piece" drama. I reckon TCM could always have shown THE SWARM again to torment viewers instead of "Desert Hearts".
